For his team, Kevin Wong is a breath of fresh air. He embodies collaboration in the truest sense of the word. Since he started, he has worked to include each team member, he listens, respects boundaries and supports families when they express concerns.

He always advocates for residents and their families. Kevin ensures he communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team members involved. He listens and respects his colleagues’ professional opinions. He shares all resident related concerns. Staff find it easy to raise concerns or questions with Kevin. He listens to all parties’ perspectives.

Kevin works on team building. He always brings his smile with him. He is dedicated and committed to bringing the team together. One thing he did to enhance the team was to organize a Christmas party for his unit. This increased the team’s morale. Health care aides expressed appreciation for his efforts. This event had a huge turn out and helped build collaboration amongst team members. Kevin dressed up as Santa and danced with staff to spread a little joy.
