Jennelyn’s morning routine is to follow up on voice mail messages she received from residents and their families. Daily she meets with residents and their families to address any questions or concerns, ensuring they feel supported and valued.
Engaging with potential residents is a regular part of Jennelyn’s day. She answers questions from prospective move-in residents about Evanston Summit and schedules site tours for people who are interested. She regularly plans events and promotions like open houses and happy hours to attract new residents.
When she is preparing for an open house, happy hour and raffle she manages the supplies she uses. For open houses she shares event details via email and social media instead of printing flyers. This approach saves money, reduces paper waste and effectively reaches her intended audience. Jennelyn uses baskets for gift items and raffle draws. She selects practical gift items that seniors can use in their daily lives like cereals, teas, mugs and crossword or puzzle books. These gifts also demonstrate attention to residents’ care and well-being.
